Life at Camp Hobbit Hill
At Camp Hobbit Hill we focus on providing campers with an atmosphere to learn, grow, and have fun. Year after year new friendships are formed, with campers joining each other in subsequent sessions or make future plans to meet the following season.
Campers at Camp Hobbit Hill will experience a multitude of activities, with focused programs available for those wishing to concentrate on mostly the Arts or perhaps only Horsemanship and Riding. All campers are part of our leadership program, the part of our camp community that focuses on building confidence and sharing our individual talents with other campers.
Join us this summer and see for yourself, become part of Camp Hobbit Hill.
Riding & Horsemanship Program
Campers may either choose Riding as an additional activity or Focus on Horsemanship and Riding as a focused program.
Campers choosing to focus on our riding and horsemanship program may also choose to add-on several related activities including extra clinics and shows.
Does your camper own their own horse, please let us know if you would like to send them to camp with your camper. Our year-round equestrian facility can accomodate their equine partner, www.HobbitHillNC.com , through reservation with Camp Hobbit Hill.
The Arts Program is an overnight camp that focuses on finding ‘our inner artist’ through creative arts such as pottery and painting, campers will also participate in the Hobbit Hill Performance Arts initiative. Campers have the option to add-on additional Riding Packages at the time of registration.
Our Camp Facilities include Trails, Open Outdoor Space, Equestrian Center, Art Cabin, CampFire Area, Arts Platform, and several other traditional camp facilities.
Our dorms have brand new bathrooms and showers for each dorm room. Each dorm room has its own air conditioning system so that you can sleep in absolute comfort, even on the hottest summer nights, just like at home!
